Dear John Letter To LittleGreenFootballs Denizens

And apparently I've been banished. You have to love these people. I've come around to 2 threads, engaged in debate in only 1, and because of all their anguish (not from my arguments being victorious - heck we never got anywhere with any of it - mine were just different) I volunteered to leave them be. For that, I get called a child, get examples of more unsubstantiated threats about evil, and get banned by Charles, the blog leader. Forgive me for saying this, but "Charles, you are a punk, as are many of the confused patriots you welcome on your site, with at least one notable exception being Jack Frost, and banning me after trashing me for not being able to resist coming back is self-serving and typical of the spirit over there." I'm not coming back, but do you really think I was on fixed IP? Geez...we've got a long way to go people in the struggle to free the human mind, even right here in America.>

zulubaby...look around. read the posts before mine. sense the angst and hatred in this space. the contradictions, mean-spirited jokes, and in my mind just blatant cowardice because none of these things would be said in a public forum represented by everyday people

then read mine, and realize I was just playing, and poking, and prodding

my spirit is real, and my mind is free. if you check over at my site, you'll see a spirit unknown around here. just don't go over trying to tear me down.

I'm not a partisan, not a jingoist, not absolutely invested in what I already believe...I'm open-minded, an American, love my country, and love freedom.

it's getting ugly here in the homeland though, like a festering scar, and the only way to try and break through is to engage. to feign the hammer, relax the noose, slip the rose.

America the beautiful.

Reflect on this.

It's draining to channel the energy over in that forum, the mean spirit of it, but instructive to turn it around, and see the chaos ensue. A little resistance and taste of their own medicine and they go running to the safety of registration. Ahhh...the perils of mutual admiration. The enemy is at the gate!

Life Wasn't As Fun Now That The Daily Pundit Turned Alright...

...so thanks to Hesiod I went over to LittleGreenFootballs and tore those little green pansies a new a@#hole!

This is in response (#194) to dozens of posts similar to the one below (in italics) in regards to our tragic killing of women and children today in Iraq...

Looks like a plain and simple traffic accident.Driver failed to obey a lawful signal to stop that resulted in multiple fatalities. Charge him with failure to stop and criminal negligent homocide. Charge Shogo as an accessory after the fact with the added charge of subourning terminal stupidity.

It's clear where the war criminals are...here, in this blog. In spirit. The lot of you, big talkers and bigger cowards. Any military man knows that you don't kill women and children lightly.

Our men shooting over there are surely shaken up by this tragedy. I guarantee you many tears were shed. And here all you self-righteous fascist punks think it's funny, and joke material, and damn these women and children!

Well f@#$ you too. You're not even worthy enough trash for a shantytown firepit in Kingston, and should all be rounded up and sent to Uzbekistan, one of our top allies and agent of mass torture and terror.

America doesn't accidentally kill women and children and laugh, snivel, joke, and rationalize them to be villains or to be at fault. The inhumanity of you people!

True patriots and warriors, unlike you pansies, fight with a code of honor, which in our case doesn't include something like this. It was an accident, and we will weather it, but make no doubt that our men are shaken up about it, as are our allies, and morale is duly effected.

Our soldiers understand the value of life, unlike you cockroaches, who obviously feel safe hating and making enemies because you're a) not on the battlefield and b) immune to the WMD nuke and dirty bomb radiation.

I recommend you smoke a big green football-sized bud, find a conscience, and get a life. You bring shame to America, and give freedom a bad name.

Reflect on this.

I'm so tired of these haters, and very shocked this goes on. Being somewhat new to the blogosphere, I'm just discovering the lows that people can sink to when they can hide behind their computers, or in the safety of a large and supportive group. This tragedy that happened today is nothing to gloat about, joke about, lay blame on the killed about, blame on Saddam Hussein about, that's all silly. It was just a tragic mistake, and should be considered as such, and never done again!

In My Occasional Adventures To Reach Out To Patriots Who Don't Think For Themselves...

...an excerpt from my adventures over at the The Daily Pundit, where occasionally it gets ugly and hate-filled, but just as often it doesn't, and I'm not one to question motives or patriotism anyway, just understanding, ways, means and tactics. After all, I'm interested in what's going in minds everywhere...

Previously, I was much more critical of this crew at the Daily Pundit. I've become aware that I was too harsh. My bad.

Here it is...

"Our media is biased, and I strongly urge all patriots and lovers of freedom, ultimate owners of American power, to look up the term "cognitive dissonance", and seek to understand it. People, don't let the detractors distract you.

Cognitive dissonance is a very simple concept to understand, if much more complex to become consciously aware of and attempt to change. How often do you acknowledge that you, or your nation, has done something wrong, as opposed to always being right?

It's important in this war hour that we understand each other, genuinely, and that our motives are clear and upfront. The role of the media in distorting this and repeating psychological war ops is becoming more notorious by the hour, especially in light of the things you don't hear, things that can be quite shocking and dissonant!

Do your part to resist against the spread of baseless and willfully false information and demand, don't ask, DEMAND information before consent, participation before consent, information AND participation before consent from your government. Geez, your freedom-loving American patriots, remember? You own them, and American power, not the other way around.

Informed, involved, and committed consent is the banner we Americans should be rallying around. Then, and only then, should we start on our crusade to save the world! We are far from perfect in this country, and corruption and cynicism is endemic.

As fellow citizens, what's important is not necessarily that we agree, which you may strongly be deciding you don't about my position, but that we are agreeable to each other, seeking to genuinely understand each other's positions, and from that base engaging in meaningful discussion and debate.

Now back to regular psy ops programming...

Here's another posted Sunday, March 30th, to further elaborate my position...

"I'm interested though in your "explanations" of leftist positions - i.e. ignorance (average "useful idiot), stupidity, or active, knowledgable malevolence. All negative, all name-calling, and a statement that a) shows no class, and b)is possibly slanderous to many people who believe strongly in the ineptness of our leadership at this critical moment of our history, including a number of generals in our own military.

Many fewer people were on the streets when we were involved in the multilateral War On Terror, instead of the unilateral Operation Iraqi Freedom (ok...we've bought and brought along some allies, mainly weakling client states we can easily bribe, a few democracies, and some truly horrible countries who clearly hate and fear freedom, like Uzbekistan). Operation Iraqi Freedom. Like I said on my link, who needs these kind of friends?

So it's clear that people are mainly reacting to unilateral risks we are taking in this war, which many, including General Norman Schwarzkopf, who commanded our troops in the first Persian Gulf War, deem highly suspect and quite possibly to result in a backfire and blowback.

I know any deal with the devil is okay with fanatics on the right who absolutely must battle evil and the everpresent threat of communism, even if it means employing evil to help out, but Uzbekistan? Turkey has outlawed an entire language for crying out loud, and we seem to love those guys too, most of the time, even though they're not backing us this time.

But I know it's all about defeating communism. The only problem is that it's not communism in itself, in its ideas, that is the threat, just that's its a known alternative, for ideological manipulators of people who are suffering, starving, have practically no material wealth, and who are viewing and reading about the lives of the rich and famous, and wanting the same. Is Communism pathetic, yes. An alternative, yes. A good one, no. Are we more about geopolitics and power than capitalism, yes.

To repeat, communism isn't appealing in itself, in fact it's a big crock of shit, and it just capitalizes on desperate people who aren't feeling the benefits of our capitalism economic sysem, which in itself would be much more well-received and responsive to peoples' demands if it wasn't so corrupted by elite and state institutions!

First and foremost, our economic system is manipulated by our own government to control Communism, Jihad and other evil, thus ruining itself in the very fight against its rival Communism. We in America have unprecented power globally right now to do what we will. And we do, including interfering with free markets, to further our political interests.

Then you have these ridiculously large and corrupt elite actors and organizations who themselves don't believe in a free market other than opening it up for their own access and hopefully (for them) monopoly control. They funnel incredible amounts of money into our political system to bribe public representatives to see things their way, and to write them special rules and exemptions.

All of this violates the free market, not to mention the public integrity of free and democratic institutions. So my point is this...we don't even have a true capitalist system to defend, due in part to rabid anti-communist dupes who would put Satan's name himself as a backer for Iraqi Freedom if he kept a low-profile.

Communism sucks, and everybody knows it. But people want a better life, and we in America are only worried about bettering our own. At least economically. And that's what the market is about...the invisible hand, self-interest, so there's no conflict there.

Selective readers of Adam Smith always seem to forget the important component of power in the economic equation though, and its distorting effects on priviliged access to information and getting what you want.

In the case of monster media companies run by elite board members, a dream come true and most privileged and desirable position of all...a platform from which to shape and influence the perceived self-interest of malleable individuals however you wish. By the way, useful idiots is a clumsy way to say "dupes".

Any fool who tries to tell me that corporations take the general welfare or American values into their thinking, or even that it would be possible to and not gut the essential theory of our economic system, is arguably in your words "ignorant (a useful idiot to the elite - my words), stupid, or active, knowledgably malevolent", and most likely seeking to enrich themselves at the expense of everybody else - values, ideals and freedom be damned!

So you better watch out, or you'll be overrun by corrupt and ruthless elite state and corporate actors who overhaul our cherished country into a Diaper State, ensure the death of libertarianism, and all of this before you even realize your liberty has been sacrificed in the fight to "level" freedom and achieve security world-wide at an acceptable level of coercion and useful idiocy.

Oops...I mean dupes.

I love my country, the values it was founded upon, and I'm going to continue to stand up for them. Unless it's profitable, Fox News won't."

****************

and one last one...

"By the way, which is Norman Schwarzkopf...ignorant dupe, stupid, or active, knowledgably malevolent?

Or Mary Wright? And in case you forgot, our liberation of Afghanistan is on shaky ground, not to mention these "freed" people are breaking new records for opium production!

How's this for great reporting and excellence in thinking...

"The establishment of democracy in Afghanistan and the government's measures against cultivation, trade and abuse of opium have been crucial steps toward solving the drug problem," the agency's report said.

"Yet, other news has not been good. For example, last year's opium poppy harvest was among the highest in the country's history," it said.

Y'know maybe you guys are right about the UN. How the hell do you conclude that your solving the drug problems when you've got a record harvest?

I suggest y'all also go check out PropagandaCritic.com, where you'll get a balanced and non-ideological analysis of propaganda and its perils, including the blatant lies of the murder of Kuwaiti babies from the last Persian Gulf War."
